IIAE Education Society

Year
2007

In 2007 this institution has been converted into IIAE Education Society. It continued its functioning as such.

Year
2011

Starting 2011, the Institute has expanded its wing and turned to be the authorized Distance Education Study Centre of Lovely Professional University. IIAE Education Society has been providing different short term and long term courses in the fields of Computer Education, Information Technologies, Accounting and communication skills.

2014

From 2014, IIAE Education Society has been providing short term skill training vocational programs like STAR, PMKVY, RPL as a Training Centre, these projects are mostly CSCM (Centrally Sponsored Centrally Managed) projects.

2016

From 2016, IIAE Educational Society has been affiliated as Training Provider of National Skill Development Corporation for the project PMKVY 2.0 (CSSM Skill development project) and has worked with 27 Training Centres at various locations mostly in Punjab and achieved Annual Target of 5532 trainees under the project with 72% Placement for financial year 2017-18.

2018

In Year 2018, IIAE Educational Society got affiliated as Training Provider with Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM) for skill development programs as PMKVY, NULM & DDUGKY and has worked with 22 Training Centres at various locations in Punjab and achieved Annual Target of 5060 trainees under the project with 70% Placement for financial year 2019-20.

2019

In Year 2019, IIAE Educational Society got Sanction Order from Ministry of Rural Development for DDU-GKY project in four districts of Punjab- Ludhiana, Bathinda, Gurdaspur & Moga. Project currently ongoing in all the districts

2021

Recently in year 2021, IIAE Educational Society got targets in PMKVY 3.0 Pilot Phase in State component from Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM) at four centres in districts Ludhiana, Amritsar & Moga. IIAE Educational Society got Sanction Order from Ministry of Rural Development for DDU-GKY project in two districts of Himachal Pradesh- Kangra & Hamirpur. Project is currently ongoing in both the districts. IIAE Educational Society got targets of 1080 candidates to be trained in Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) Project of Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs in State of Punjab in FY 2021-22.

The aims and objectives of the Institute are summarized below:

To provide education and training, to persons of outstanding abilities who would provide leadership to Indian industry in globally competitive economic environment.
To carry out advanced research and development activities in IT enabled design and educational technologies, both on its own and on sponsorship basis for the industry.
To organize conferences, seminars, workshops and such other activities for then dissemination of knowledge.
To enhance communication skill and exposure to the globe.

The training procedure of the Institute are summarized below:

We provide smart class rooms with facilities of LCD Projectors, OHP Projectors, labs with modern techniques.

Refreshers courses are arranged for staff to rejuvenate the knowledge and guest lectures are organized by eminent educationist time to time.
Study material is updated with the help of professionals to meet the requirement of the students.

PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES

Placement Activities

We have a separate team of members for placement of students. We believe that placements of students, is one of the most important and crucial activities. Our placement consists of Placement officer and representatives from faculty members.

For better placement prospective, the students are trained and polished for facing the interviews. The students are groomed effectively and well prepared to have positive attitude and other skills required for joining the corporate world. Various activities like seminars on various topics are being conducted regularly for our students. The seminar is often delivered by our Placement Officer and we also invite resource persons from industry to share their thoughts with students.

Our placement team maintains a constant contact with industry in order to be aware latest requirements and opportunities. Representatives of different companies visit our institute for conducting interviews and other placement activities. Various campus interviews are arranged for the placements of the students. Students are also sent to companies for interviews, being arranged by our placement team in coordination with companies.
